Posting, etc...
I haven't been posting lately... it's just 'cause I feel to tired to post... so much work to do and all... and I got TONS of geometry homework to do ~ 18 problems, each with at least a part a and b, if not more. And we're in the proofs section too. I suck at writing proofs ~ I mean, I know what I mean, but I dunno how to write so it makes sense. ~_~ Oh well....
Now I'm gonna write about the past few days because avoidance (usually of homework) is the answer to everything. =)
I forgot to say happy Trowa day on the 3rd, so I'm gonna say it now.
And I also forgot to say happy Trowa/Quatre day on the 4th, so I'll also say that now.
Now on to the other days....
Wednesday, the 5th ~ Not much happened... if something DID happen I probably don't remember. -_-
In computers, we "played" with graphics or whatever in word (something I already know how to do) and the people not done with their career searches or whatever had time to finish up. Basically a time to me to surf the 'net and pretend like I'm working and when the teach comes along, minimize and go to word. =P She doesn't know as long as it doesn't look like a game so you can basically do what you want. Too bad a lot of the websites I tried to get on were blocked. =/
Worked on our house in construction... Mr. Myers cut more wood the day before for the houses (like around 50 or more sticks) and they were all gone in less than 10 minutes. LOL! I can happily say that I needed all the wood I got ~ I only got 10 sticks. =P But I needed them, damnit! There are lots of studs to be cut, and everyone else needed them too. You gotta take what you can get! I mean, we only got 107 studs cut, and we need at least 231 (from the calculations) but we may need more with the cripple studs and trimmer studs and all. We may have skipped some partition walls too, so we'll DEFINITELY need more studs. -_- So many studs to cut... Do you know how hard it is to measure each stud to be cut? Five inches each stud.... Marking over 200 of thoses... DAMN! Too much! And the splinters suck! We used the pliers to cut (me and Liliana) because too many people were at the band saw cutting their own studs. And holding the wood so the pieces won't go flying or vibrate when cutting is just asking for spinters to attack you. O_O I got at least 5 splinters, if not more. -_-
Did some labs in Physics.... not fun but that's life. *rolls eyes* Took a quiz -- got a zero. Nothing new. Got a test next Tuesday so I REALLY need to study for that. I'm NOT getting a D on my report card so this is the only way I can make sure I get at least a B. I need to get at least a C so my grade doesn't slip that much. So the weekend is study time... No excuses. Gotta study! So don't expect me to chat a lot. =/
English was English. People played Chess, we did some work, had some laughs. =)
Today, the 6th ~ Today was BOR~RING!
In 1st period, computers, we had a guest speaker. She was SO fucking boring! I mean, she just kept talking about colors and all that and kept repeating herself, and everything. >_< Then we had to write about it. *rolls eyes* So stupid!
2nd period we had ANOTHER guest speaker. This time it was a civil engineer. Then after that guest speaker, we went to my English class (the other CTA classes went to hear the guest speaker so we couldn't use our room) and we got this paper that we had to fill out about the electrical needs of our house. Our model house (if you weren't sure). And she said that if we have enough time in construction, we'll do the electrical wiring and have small light bulbs and stuff. @_@ Our classes doesn't even have walls done ~ all the other classes have almst all their walls built. Anyway, for homework, we have to full out another paper exactly like it but on our own house. -_-
In third period, we had to prove the pythagorean theorem. -_- I don't think I did so well. *sigh*
For 4th period it was the same old same old. People playing Chess, we read an article, had a few laughs. =D
Now, tomorrow I'm going on a Job Shadow. ^_^ At ROEL Construction. Gotta wear old clothes because we're going to get dirty. I say it'll be fun. ^_^ But I dunno i I should bring my backpack or not... I won't I guess. I can carry the things I need in my pocket I guess. =)
That's all there is... I'll post tomorrow about the Job Shadow, then I'm gonna work on my geometry homework. Saturday I got a date with my Physics books. =P And Sunday I hope I got some free time.
