Today...

Today was a boring day. x_x I didn't get any math homework done, I worked on the bill for government ALL BY MYSELF, and then after that, I decided there was no more energy to do anything else productive. x_x So now, I'm even MORE behind in everything and I'm too lazy to care as much as I should. x_x *sigh* Oh wellz..

Anywayz.. I need one more fact for my bill thingy. My "paragraph summary", if you can call it that, is a dinky little sentence because I have no idea what else to write. x_x My bill thingy, if anyone feels like helping out..

Senators Helen To and Selassie Adjibolosoo of Alaska

Senate Bill
109th Session

We propose a bill to improve the health of all employees by requiring employers to provide a paid, mandatory 30-60 minutes each work day dedicated to physical activity.

Findings
- Approximately 127 million adults in the U.S. are overweight, 60 million obese, and 9 million severely obese (American Obesity Association, http://www.obesity.org/).
- Studies show that 60% of American adults don't get the recommended amount of physical activity and that over 25% of adults are not active at all (About.com, http://exercise.about.com/cs/fittingitin/a/exerciseobstacl.htm).
- Demanding bosses and looming deadlines make it difficult for employees to stick to their exercise regimens (American Council on Exercise, http://www.acefitness.org/fitfacts/fitbits_display.aspx?itemid=249).
- Exercise improves blood flow to your brain, bringing additional sugars and oxygen that may be needed when you are thinking intensely (Mind Tools, http://www.mindtools.com/stress/Defenses/Exercise.htm).
- Exercise reduces risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, diabetes and obesity (American Academy of Family Physicians, http://familydoctor.org/059.xml)
- Immediately after a person completes exercise their anxiety level goes down and when a person exercises for several months or more, they simply become a less anxious person (Annesi, http://www.webmd.com/content/chat_transcripts/2/111610.htm).
- Exercise releases chemicals called endorphins into the blood stream, giving a feeling of happiness and an overall sense of well-being (Mind Tools, http://www.mindtools.com/stress/Defenses/Exercise.htm).
-

So.. Any other fact for me? x_x

Okay.. Gonna catch up on my f-list now.. I'm probably on skip?200 or something.. @_@
