MORNING
Did vit-sit, sit-ups, pull-up / flex-arm hang, and shuttle run with aznearthdragon for record (Cadet Challenge). Got eight on v-sit, 42 or something on sit-ups, nothing (supposedly two, but I dunno) for flex-arm and like 13 on shuttle run. x_x I'm so ashamed, lol. Why must I be so sucky? My only strong points are v-sit and sit-ups.. x_x After that, went to Ms. JJ's class to get another box of candy, but she wasn't there. x_x BLEH!


ROTC
LET2s did the shuttle run and mile for record, even though only like.. what, maybe four or so ran it. WTF man, making me so mad. And it's not like the rest of them were doing something productive, oh no. They were mostly just hanging around and it's like ARGH! >O Stupid people.. After that, had to write a reflection on our physical training plan. I finished then went around handing out the demerits to the people who still haven't turned in their syllabuses, 'cause they've had more than two weeks to get that thing in and they deserve it 'cause we ask for it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I gave out 25 each to the LET1s and the LET2 who didn't have it got 50. Yeah, yeah.. I'm mean. So sue me. Anywayz.. Tomorrow we're gonna do PT and I wanna drill them for about 5-10 minutes before I give them sports.. Maybe we'll play Tap-Out to practice drill then sports and all the losers who didn't do the mile have to. It's their fault 'cause they are too lame to wear the right clothes or whatever the fuck their problems were even though I TOLD them that we'd run the mile on today if we didn't do it Tuesday and Tuesday it rained, so do the math, right? x_x


GOVERNMENT
Continued with the floor debate.. First up was Ana and Dulce with their bill proposing that schools be given the funding and offer the option of taking foreign languages at schools. Damn, but the stupid people around me were making a big fuss about how that was dumb and shit. They were all like, Oh, why aren't we focusing on English? Why do we have to learn a different language to communicate? Blah blah, and it's like, geez! Don't be so conceited! All these other countries in the world teach English and only 30% of schools K-12 ((according to their facts)) in the US offer foreign languages. x_x And the guys.. they also said something about how English is the language spoken most or whatever and that's why other countries teach it, but it's like, all that says about America is that we're conceited and we believe we're above every other culture, above learning their language and trying to communicate in their native tongue when we travel, etc.. But at least the bill passed at the end, even though it made me mad. >O

Next up was.. I think Allister and Mike. Theirs was the keeping "under God" in the pledge, keeping the words "In God We Trust" on our currency, keeping God in the judicial system, etc.. I think that their argument was very weak, but that might just be me. Anyway.. After they said their piece, Edmon proposed to vote without even a debate. Then a whole bunch of other people seconded and all that, but Mrs. Gallegos wanted some debate first. Nikki was the only one on the opposing side which made me feel marginally better because if she didn't, I think I would be the only one who would even want to argue the other side and I'm not a great speaker or debater, lol. But yeah.. Stupid guys (once again) argue dumbly not because of their religious bias (although that was obviously a key factor), but because their argument was SO not related to the bill. They dragged the argument to the Mt. Solodad (sp?) cross thing and all this other junk and it's like, stay on topic! In the end, it passed, but more people opposed than I thought would. It's horrible though, 'cause when we did the vote and there was the few of us sitting down who were against it, Allister made some snide comment and even though I don't know exactly what he said 'cause I could barely hear any of it, the meaning was clear: he was calling us all non-believers. Okay, yes, that's true in my case, but I'm 99.999% sure that the rest of the people sitting down were religious. Allister was lucky that I was the only one who was opposing that sat near him, 'cause I'm sure the others would have been so pissed at him for questioning their faith and all that. I mean, come on! Just because they didn't want his bill passed doesn't mean that they are suddenly atheist and it's so rude to say they are. >O

Then, it was Sergio and Daniel with their changing the drinking age to 18. They did SO bad AND they incriminated themselves with one of their "facts". It's like, come on! What kind of person says something AGAINST their bill as a fact? @_@ But yeah.. I don't even think that was a hard bill to research! I could have done that bill justice, but there's the fact that I don't think there should be drinking at ALL that somewhat hinders me, ya know? Their bill was like not passed, everyone to three. Kinda sad, but you know.. their facts weren't good at all and they couldn't even answer any questions, so..

After them, it was Edmon with his wanting more people on the rating board for movies or whatever. I don't remember much about his, but it passed.

Lastly, it was Nikki. She wanted healthier food choices at school for lunch. She didn't have facts, but yeah.. Everyone around me was ganging up on her just because she's the only one who argues back against them. The arguments against were so dumb.. I mean, come on now! Everyone knows that the school offers non-healthy stuff and I'm sure everyone wants a better selection at school, so I don't get it, but whateverz.. In the end, that one passed too and like most of the guys (somehow) voted for it even though they argued against. Obviously they thought with their stomachs in the end.

Tomorrow there's one more group to go.. Test on Monday, I think.. BLAH!


LUNCH
Food.. ate.. Yeah. Later on, in the range, Eric and bobbleheadvi were interrogating Teng about his "emo-ness" and stuff. I mean, I guess that's okay, 'cause it's like, they care, but at the same time, it's not 'cause I'm sure they had ulterior motives for doing it, ya know? 'Cause really.. Guys don't talk about things like that often, so there has to be some other reason..


AP CALCULUS
Went over homework.. BLAH! Quiz tomorrow.. Need to do my homework, but I'm so lazy.. How will I get four pages of work done for "studying" homework? *sigh* BLAH! Imma fail that anyway 'cause I suck at these written response questions..

Just went on the computer.. tried to look up my thingy for the new project, but it was hard to find stuff about it. x_x Later on, just did whatever 'cause she stopped walking around looking at people and I gave up on researching anyway. AFTER SCHOOL
Taught new people for Unarmed.. Bleh. Everyone was gone and it was so bare 'cause all the YPF people went to the weight room and a whole bunch of people had other things to do and stuff.. BLAH!


Need to do my STRIVE scholarship.. Only $500, but I wanna get some money! But I can't thik of anything to write! BLEH! I don't think I'll win anyway, 'cause I don't have that many community service activities, even if I'm just going up against Kearny people.. 'Cause I'm sure there are a bunch of people like Edmon who are a part of everything and does ton of community service.. BLEH!

It rained!~ XD LOL! Rain all day until the afternoon.. XD But yeah.. anywayz.. Didn't really do much besides hung in the classroom..

LET2+ did Cadet Challenge for record.. Just curl-ups, v-sit, and pull-ups / flex-arm hang. I worked on my training schedule and that's about it..


GOVERNMENT
Our bills went to committee.. So boring. I was in the Homeland Security committee. BLAH! We had two bills to look at: Drew's and CJ and Elio's. We looked at CJ and Elio's bill first. Theirs was something like.. build a two 20' (?) fences 4' apart with 2000V barbed wire on top and land mines between the fences on the border to stop illegal immigrants. First off, that doesn't even work in the construction sense. Because they're not even worrying about the underground, you could just dig a tunnel and then you're good. If you wanted, you can delibrately set off the land mines and they'll set each other off AND destroy the fences. They said that there'd be lower taxes as one of their reasons, but that doesn't work out at all, seeing as they'd have to power the barbed wire, replace all the mines whenever they're set off, and build new fences at the same time. They also think that this structure is so great that there's no need for a border patrol once it's in place. x_x Their reasons, if you can call it that, are all either not valid or unrelated. It was so dumb.. I wish we could just deny it or table it, but Mrs. Gallegos said we can only pass as is or revise it. x_x Drew's bill was better and he had some good facts ((I think, 'cause I didn't really read them all)), but I don't really agree with what he wanted. He said something about how profiling should be legal, that it should be okay to torture during interrogations, and that illegal immigrants should be deported.

Some other bills from the class were.. More healthy choices at schools for lunch ((I second that!)), no smoking near minors ((they need to define "near")), change the drinking age to 18 ((it needs to move UP, not down!)), and keeping the words "under God" in the pledge, keeping the words "In God We Trust" on our currency, and all that other related stuff ((I don't really agree or disagree, but the "facts", if you can call it that, I heard from them were REALLY making me want to deny it)). Can't remember the other one or two left. But yeah.. the keeping God and religion in the pledge and money and all that.. Their facts were so whack. I heard Allister reading some of his stuff and he was saying that our nation was founded on it and stuff and I was thinking, 'Umm.. Didn't we come to America so we could HAVE freedom of religion? o_O' and then his other reasons were, "If you don't believe in God, then you don't have to say the words [in the pledge] ((okay, I get this 'cause that's what I do, but that's not a fact that will support the bill...)) and you don't have to look at the money ((and I suppose we should just assume the amount we are in possession of..? @_@))" and some other stuff.. I dunno, but it definitely won't pass with the arguements he has right now..

Anywayz.. Tomorrow we're suppose to go to the floor and argue it and all that junk. How exciting. Me and Selassie signed up for second... BLAH!

Oh yeah, baby! XD But I'm still holding out for UC Berkeley, even though the chances of me getting in there are like.. almost non-existent, lol. ^_^;;

Finished my art project.. Started talking about the new one.. BLAH!


AFTER SCHOOL
Had our Unarmed meeting.. We have 12 people so far.. Need one more. Afterwards, just hung around outside with Cathy and Yann and stuff, then later on in the range with bobbleheadvi.


I need to finish some scholarship stuff and write up a reflection thingy, but I don't feel like it.. *sigh*

Today was a boring day. x_x I didn't get any math homework done, I worked on the bill for government ALL BY MYSELF, and then after that, I decided there was no more energy to do anything else productive. x_x So now, I'm even MORE behind in everything and I'm too lazy to care as much as I should. x_x *sigh* Oh wellz..

Anywayz.. I need one more fact for my bill thingy. My "paragraph summary", if you can call it that, is a dinky little sentence because I have no idea what else to write. x_x My bill thingy, if anyone feels like helping out..
