Happy New Year!~

I thought about writing up my typical new year post last night/this morning, but that was just way too much effort for me, lol.

Anyway, old resolutions time!

Get a job! -- CHECK! XP

Workout at least twice a week. -- Not even close. =/ I did Insanity for about a month before quitting though -- that has to count for something, right?

Comment more! -- Nope. But then again, I haven't been reading as much lately either. =/

Well, 1/3 is kinda okay, right? Whatever, lol.

New resolutions!

Work out at least twice a week! -- Whatever, I recycle a lot! I'm planning to start Insanity again soon (and actually finish this time), so that will be a start at least!

Read at least three books a month! -- I really need to get back into reading. If only my commute didn't take up so much of my time. =/

Read more fic! -- Because I didn't really this year and it kinda sucked, lol.

Post at least twice a month! -- I need to get back into a posting habit, lol. Seriously, I looked back to see what my last post was and it was just a short post saying I bought Big Bang tickets! I didn't even write about the concert or anything! (Which was amazing, BTW!) So much fail, lol.

I can't think of anything else, but I really feel like I need at least one goal that doesn't take the whole year to accomplish. =/ Because at this rate, I will probably accomplish none, LOL. IDK, I guess I'll think on it and edit this if I come up with something...

Yeah, I think this year was pretty okay. I can't think of anything super horrible about it, so yeah, hahah.

What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Ummm.. see Big Bang live, LOL. If you don't count the free concerts in college, then Big Bang would have been my first concert ever! XD

Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin had a baby a few months ago. =)

No.

What countries did you visit?
Still none... I really want to travel outside of the US though!

What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
Hmmm.. IDK, a boyfriend would be nice, but I'm not super social, so I guess we'll see...

What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 23 -- first day of my new job. November 2 -- seeing Big Bang in person.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a job, I guess? IDK, I haven't really achieved much this year that I can remember...

What was your biggest failure?
I can't think of any big failures this year, so I guess I'll pass on this, lol.

Not that I can recall...

Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes, I actually did go to the hospital once this year. Nothing too major though, so that's good.

I can't think of anyone major this year...

Parents, as it should, since I still live at home and all...

Big Bang! And also Answer Me 1997!

Psy - Gangnam Style, because seriously, it was everywhere! And from the first half of the year, before Gangnam Style, I would say Big Bang - Fantastic Baby.

happier or sadder? About the same, so I guess I'll go with happier.
thinner or fatter? Ugh, fatter. =/
richer or poorer? Slightly richer? Since I now have a job, LOL.

Be more social, both online and off.

Sitting around and doing nothing.

I spent it with my friend Amanda and her family up in the bay area. =)

At home, lol. I think I was probably sleeping at the time because it was too much effort to stay up for midnight. XP

What was your favorite TV program?
This year was Answer Me 1997, hands down. It was amazing. ♥ Also Running Man since I'm watching it from the beginning now!

Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Don't think so.

What was the best book you read?
I didn't really read much of anything this year, so I'm kinda limited, but NK Jemisin's Hundred Thousand Kingdoms was pretty awesome.

What was your greatest musical discovery?
I dunno how you determine "greatest", but I really enjoyed Nu'est this year. Also Shinhwa (even though they're old, but I didn't really know about them until Shinhwa Broadcast, lol).

What did you want and get?
A job? I mean, I really want to find something that is more in line with my future goals, but I really do enjoy the people I work with.

Probably the same answer as the previous question.

Were you in school (any time this year)?
I do take classes at community college, so yes. =)

How did you earn your keep?
I work, like most people do, lol.

What was your favorite film of this year?
Avengers is the only one I can think of.

I was at school taking my Chinese final, LOL. I turned 25.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having a boyfriend so I wouldn't feel like a third wheel all the time, lol.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012
The same concept as the previous year? LOL, because the only clothes I've bought this year were a couple pairs of jeans (finally!) and that was literally two weeks ago, LOL.

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I think Seungri got really hot for me this year, but he's a couple years too young! Also Hoya, but then I looked him up after watching 1997 and yeah, he's WAY too young, LOL.

What political issue stirred you the most?
The election, obviously. Also all the talk about repealing the Affordable Care Act was annoying. And now all the Fiscal Cliff stuff. x_x

Who did you miss?
I can't really think of anyone in particular..

Who was the best new person you met?
Can I take a pass? I don't really think I've met many new people this year, lol.

I pretty much always knew this, but it was cemented this year: It's not what you know, but who you know.
