Pain is such a bad thing....
Mar. 17th, 2003 05:03 pmYes, I'm pretty sure everyone knows that, but just to make sure everyone knows, I'll say it loud and proud.......
Yes, now that I have that out, I'll explain my reasoning behind this flawless object.
Today, in Construction class, I was hot-gluing studs to make the wall and all that. My partner, Liliana, was cutting more studs while I had the job of gluing. Sounds fine, yes? Well, let me tell you, it SUCKS when some studs are taller than the other... you end up filling the gaps with glue. -_- And you get splinters from handling the wood. Hence the pain. BUT! That's not the only reason. Another reason for the pain? I burned myself with the hot glue. Now, that may not seem like such a bad thing, but you've probably never done it before, so you wouldn't know. >_< Plus it wasn't just a little glue, it was WAY more than a little, but not exactly a lot. Yes, the pain is painful. =P And that little part of my thumb is like WAY smooth and probably don't have lines on it anymore. Hot glue can do that to you, you know -- you CAN burn off your fingerprints, but don't try it 'cause it hurts.
Well, as much fun as it is bitching to ya, I got to finish my feature article. Less than half way done and it's due tomorrow. O_O
