okay, I guess. Let's see...
In first period, we read the translations we did out loud and that's about it. No homework. ^_^
Second period, we talked about questions for the Re-Design of Kearny -- if ya didn't know, that's our first project that we're starting next week. I'll talk more about that at the end. We didn't paint today, cause it was a late start, so we're doing it on Monday.
Third period, we watched a stupid movie, then got a map and had to label some things on it. That was about it.
Fourth period, Mr. Fearnow was gone cause today it's a football game today -- Kearny vs Claremont. So we had Mr. Rabing for a sub. *dies* After we did the warm-up, we went to Myers' classroom for the rest of the period.
In Myers, he talked about the questions again with his 4th period regular Kearny students, then we had to clean, fill the nail holes, etc.. to get ready to paint Monday.
I gotta do my DBQ today, but I think it'll suck. -_- Salassie wanted her DBQ back to work on it, so... I gotta do it on my own. *sigh* I'm working on it now, just took a break. =P I'll post it when I'm done, I guess.
I also gotta read "Lord of the Flies" chapters 4-6. *dies* I don't wanna read more of that boring book, but I gotta. *sigh* Oh well....
Now, here's the Re-Design of Kearny information... I guess I'll start with the questions then tell ya more about the project after I type the question list we made in class.
Re-Design of Kearny Campus

1. Why do we have to go year-round?
2. What about sports?
3. What about ASB?
4. What about clubs?
5. Who's in charge?
6. Who gets what classes?
7. Can we change the school colors? What to?

9. What about regular Kearny students?
10. Are we going to have shared classes?

Information
I'm not sure how much I've talked about this, but this IS a big deal. So I guess I should talk about it here. =P Then whoever reads this will know what's going on, even though it doesn't really apply to y'all. =P
The re-design of Kearny campus is our first project in the CTA. We have to research, plan, and present this to the District School Board. The date we gotta present this is on December 5. (BTW, that's Eric's birthday, lol. He wants us to sing him Happy Birthday when we're on TV. =P ) Everyone in the CTA is going (dunno about the freshmen though, but all the sophmores are) and it's going to be news crews and everything. We're going to be the first students to ever present to the school board. O_O The teachers aren't even going to help us! We're doing it on our own... Scary. Anyway...
Next year, there will be 5 academies at Kearny. Sorry, but the academy list has changed since we first got the list in the first week, so I can't tell ya what academies there are, besides the Construcion Tech [CTA] (that's us). This isn't just a "yeah, it's happening" but never does kinda thing. It's REALLY happening. Next year. So yeah...
Currently, the plan is to kick all regular Kearny out, so that's why most of the questions are like sports and stuff. If everyone is kicked, are we just going to send them off to other schools? Most schools are already crowded. -_-
If all the other students are gone, what happens to clubs? Sports? Etc... We will have to make our own ASB and we're the yearbook staff. We have to be. There will only be ~110 juniors (us) next year, ~119 sophmores, and the rest freshmen. We will be the oldest students on campus. The graduating class will be about 100. There will be no graduating class of 2005 because we'll all be only juniors. -_-
December 5th is when we gotta come up with our answers and whatnot.
That's about the jist of it...
Now, back to homework...
