My day... LOTS of complaining. =P
Oct. 22nd, 2003 08:58 pmFirst period, we did some work... I didn't do my homework, cause I didn't get it from anyone, and I didn't want to do it, which was WHY I didn't get it from someone. -_- He put the names of ALL the people who didn't do it on the board. How embarrassing! I mean, I'm suppose to DO my homework, and the one time I didn't, he writes it on the board. *cries* Good thing I *KNEW* what the hell we were doing 'cause he asked us and I was the only one able to answer straight away, not to mention that he asked me THREE questions when he only asked the others one. -_-
Second period, we got to see the ballots for the election. Here's the ballot...
When I got it, I was SHOCKED that I wasn't on it! *dies* I was thinking, "WHAT THE FUCK?!" and stuff. Eric N. and a few others were like, "What?! Helen's not on the list?" -- exactly what I was saying! Then Myers said that Bernel was off, and he put Sandy on. EVERYONE complained about that! They were like, "What can SANDY do?!" and stuff. Vickie said she didn't WANT to run for Treasurer, so Myers put in Eric N. Later, Christian stood up and was like, "How come SHE [Sandy] gets to be on the list?" and "Most of these people aren't even QUALIFIED to run for president, so why do they get to?" and then she pointed to me and was like, "Look at her! She wants to run, but she doesn't even get to be on the list?! How come?" etc... Myers said that if he took off all the people without 3.0 GPAs, then there'd probably be only like two people and that those people promised to get 3.0's by next grading period, or else the second highest takes over. Then he looked at me and asked if I wanted to run. I just gave him a "duh!" look and nodded my head, so he took Sandy off and put me. ^_^ Yay! Then he printed it out, and Eric was saying how he wasn't sure he wanted to run and all... but he got the list and saw that he was on it, so he was like, "Now it looks like I HAVE to run... gotta write my speech now", lol. Also, people were happy Sandy was off. The reason I crossed Eric J. off the list was 'cause on Monday, he told me on AIM that he didn't want to run (cause he didn't wanna do a speech -_- ). I didn't tell Myers cause he would've needed to replace him with someone and no one else in my class wanted to go for VP, so yeah.
Also, after that, us AP kids got to know our groups for the Re-Design. -_- See? Always outta the loop... Anyway, Myers didn't put me in a group, so I got to choose between Hanh's group and Vickie's group. I like the people in Vickie's group more, not to mention that they're smarter than the people in Hanh's group, so I chose that. Fidel told me that I was gonna be collecting data. I was like, "Data on what?" and he told me to go ask Anna. -_- When the fuck do I ever see Anna?! Geez... Whatever... It's not like I know what's happening anyway... We don't have English/World History like everyone else, so it's all complicated. And Myers is the only class that we AP kids can work on the project, so... -_- Everyone else has more time... I don't think I'll be doing much work anyway, seeing as I don't know what exactly we're doing... besides re-designing Kearny, but that's a given... Whatever...
Third period, we talked about how Kearny's going academy next year. Lots of complains and stuff... you know how it is. They said that the only way you could voice your opinion is at the PTSA meeting -- the next one is in November. What good does that do everyone if the final thing is suppose to be presented in December? One meeting to say everything? Please!~ Not to mention the fact that one of the people in my class said that they attended the meeting before with his friends, Seelos didn't answer their questions and didn't even call on them because they were against it. She does that to EVERYBODY who opposes the idea!~ And she's always sprouting out the "Research shows..." shit! I wanna say, "Can I *SEE* this research?" And Santos said that yesterday, the teachers going around and telling classes, someone asked why we're going academy. They gave off the research shit. Then they asked how many schools were successful. They answered three outta the 120 that went academy. And how does this prove their little research theory...? Not to mention the fact that those three successful schools said that it was because they did it SLOWLY! And Kearny's trying to go in LESS THAN ONE YEAR?! WTF?! Tell me how that makes sense?! Whatever... there's more, but I don't wanna type it all...
Fourth period, we took notes then got a worksheet. Saul came over, just like he always does, and him and Mark were messing with me. -_- Nothing unusual. *rolls eyes*
