New Layout + Ramblings About School...
Aug. 19th, 2010 08:31 pmWheee, I updated my LJ a little! It's been years since I've done that. It didn't really change that much, honestly, lol. Layout is a little different, but the color scheme (for the most part) is the same. Whatever, I am content -- baby steps for changes, right? It'll probably take me a couple more years before I decide to change it again. XP
Anyway, I finally got around to skimming through some of the
inception_bang prompts and the author sign-up list and I'm pretty excited! There are some awesome prompts that have been claimed, so yay for some nice long fics to read in a few months, LOL. I also signed up to be a beta because it's looking like there's a shortage of betas and I figured why not (even though I haven't beta'd in a LONG TIME, lol). I'm hoping it'll be okay though, work-load wise, 'cause I'm thinking that my fall schedule shouldn't be too busy. *sweatdrop* (Gah! Knock on wood, don't wanna jinx myself, lol!)
But yeah, fall quarter is usually when everyone's figuring out their thesis and some studios do Vellum (furniture competition) and stuff, so I'm hoping it won't be too bad. (I say this now, but if I get into a studio where I have to do Vellum, I'm pretty sure I will be super stressed, lol, because I suck in the woodshop!) My friend said that CRP 336 isn't too bad, just some papers, so I'm hoping that CRP 452 isn't too bad either, lol. Now that I'm thinking about it, if I don't get into that anthropology class, I'll probably get away with NO FINALS this quarter! =O Because every CRP class I've taken so far only had final papers due before finals week, so I potentially will be able to go home a week early! =OOOOO This really makes me not want that ANT class, LOL. Man, so tough... On the one hand, I should try and take it for my Sustainable Environments minor. On the other hand, I'll have two other quarters still that are pretty empty! Also, the idea of taking 16 units -- oh man, I haven't had only 16 units since first year! ARGH, I hate debating with myself, LOL.
