aznearthdragon and I went to a screening of
Abduction earlier. We got the tickets about two hours before the screening and we were debating on whether or not to go. I decided that we shouldn't go because it was at Horton Plaza and I didn't want to go downtown, but then
aznearthdragon decided about an hour before that she wanted to go, so we got changed and went, lol.
When we got there, we had to wait forever in one line while other people got in 'cause they either won tickets or bought tickets or something. Then at 6PM, when the screening was suppose to start, they finally let all of us people who got free screening tickets in.

Yay free stuff!Anyway, there was apparently a live stream of the red carpet event before the screening. It totally sucked because
aznearthdragon and I
so weren't expecting that. I mean, I suppose that must have been cool or something for people who were really pumped for the movie or whatever, but I didn't want to sit through that! It was basically 1.25 hours of hype for the movie and boringness. They kept telling us to tweet and stuff and I
was tweeting during the thing, but I refused to use the hashtag on principle (and because I didn't want to be mean for all the people excited about it). Near the end, Taylor Lautner finally came on the red carpet and seriously, all the girls in the room just screamed (and you
know the audience were a bunch of teenage girls)! And then at the very end, before the red carpet thing ended, Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber came out of the car onto the red carpet and there were even
more screaming! Seriously, too much excitement!
( Spoilers ahead! But really, it's just me complaining all over the place, LOL. )After the movie,
aznearthdragon and I spent the longest time looking for our car, LOLOLOL. We are totally lame, obviously.
When we got home,
aznearthdragon looked up
Abduction on FB and found the
VIP Fan Event and yeah, apparently it was $30 to go to the screening and get the t-shirt, poster, lanyard, and iPhone skin. I just have to say that I
definitely wouldn't have paid $30 to go to that! And the people who paid for it would probably be mad that there were, like, 30-ish people who got all the same things they got, but for free.
