So I didn't write about this yesterday mainly 'cause I was tired and I forgot to mention it, so yeah. Yesterday, during ARCH 131, I read an e-mail from Selassie and she told me that she quit college. We exchanged a few e-mailes yesterday, but basically, the story is that she was seeing the psychologist at PLNU too and she was stressed and depressed and basically the same funk she was in during our senior year. I guess she talked it over with her parents and stuff and in the end, they decided she would quit. Now she's working at Starbucks and yeah.. I don't know. She said she would probably take some classes at Mesa, but yeah.

I don't know what to do. It's like, I'm so disappointed that she quit 'cause, you know, she's my friend and I don't want that from her, ya know? I know she could do well in college, but I guess I understand where she's coming from 'cause it's not like she'd be putting much effort into it at this point in her life when she's not motivated enough and it'd just be a waste of money, but still. You always want the best for people you care about, right? And yeah, I want to support her in what she's chosen to do, but at the same time, it's just so strange to know that she actually QUIT and isn't doing school anymore and hasn't been doing it for a while 'cause she quit after two weeks. And it's like.. I can't even explain, ya know?

But yeah.. I don't know.. *sigh*
