Sep. 18th, 2010 10:00 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Feel free to skip this unless you're curious, lol.
Mostly for me because there have been times in the beginning of the quarter where I forget to bring my schedule and have to call
aznearthdragon to check where my class is, LOL.
Not sure where gym will be fitting into this yet -- either at night some time or maybe before class on MW, lol. But yeah, also imagine an about an hour of gym everyday somewhere also.
My classes, in case you're a super nerd and want to know what I'm taking. XD
ARCH 481 -- Senior Architectural Design Project
ARCH 492 -- Senior Design Thesis
CRP 336 -- Intro: Environmental Planning
CRP 452 -- Community Design Methods
ANT 201 -- Cultural Anthropology
Yeah, decided on not taking this, LOL.
[Updated September 23, 2010]: Updated schedule a bit, lol.

ARCH 481 -- Senior Architectural Design Project
Comprehensive building design and research project in an architectural concentration area. Demonstration of professional competency in integration of architectural theory, principles and practice with creative, organizational and technical abilities in architectural programming, design and design research.AKA studio, which I will mention constantly because it is my "lab" for my major and also, senior thesis project! XP
ARCH 492 -- Senior Design Thesis
Development of the framework and format of a thesis project proposal related to the specific design option. Work to include: research topic, intent, scope, methodology, assumptions, outline of work program and documentation. They have this as a separate class, but I'm pretty much 100% sure that this is just a continuation of studio. XP And you know that one hour break between this and studio is probably just going to be spent IN STUDIO, so it's more like ten hours of studio straight on Friday! (OH THE TORTURE!) Friday schedules aren't suppose to be like this, I'm sure. =/
CRP 336 -- Intro: Environmental Planning
Theories, institutional frameworks, and technologies used in environmental planning for human settlements. Comparative study of practices at international, national, bioregional and state/local levels. Impact assessment technologies used in impact analysis for plan administration. Application of environmental mitigation to community planning.Taking this for my CRP minor and also counts towards my Sustainable Environments minor. XD I hear this class has lots of reading though. =(
CRP 452 -- Community Design Methods
Introduction to community design as an interdisciplinary subject. Focus on the active involvement of end-users in the creation and management of built environments. Principles and techniques of participatory design and planning, including charrettes, design games and participatory technologies. Demonstration of participatory techniques through case studies and application.Taking this for my CRP minor. I dunno what this will be like, but I think one of my friends is taking with with me, so yay. XP
Contemporary human cultures throughout the world. General patterns sought within the diversity of individual cultures. Includes such topics as: family organization; gender roles; adaptation to the environment; systems of economic exchange; political organization and leadership; religious beliefs and values; ethnicity and cultural pluralism; impact of Western culture on the developing world. For my Sustainable Environments minor. Waitlisted for this class, not sure if I want to take or not. We'll see once I get the syllabus, lol.
[Updated September 23, 2010]: Updated schedule a bit, lol.
