Happy (Early) New Year!~

Still about 2.5 hours to go before it's midnight -- us west-coasters are always late to the party. XP

Anyway, time to look at my old resolutions...

Blog at least once a week. -- From a quick glance at the archives, I think I was mostly successful at this. I mean, there were a couple weeks without any posts at all, but I'm gonna just say this was a success. XP

Workout at least two times a week. -- Definite fail, lol.

Pass the CDT! -- YES!

Get a job! -- Sadly no.

Read at least two books a month. -- Sadly I've only read eight books this year, nine if you include the book I read for the CDT. =/

Well, 2/5 isn't too bad, right?

Now, this year's resolutions...

Get a job! -- It will happen eventually, I'm sure!

Workout at least twice a week. -- I really like repeating this one, lol.

Comment more! -- Even though lurking is just so much easier.

IDK, graduate college? I feel like I didn't do many new things this year...

Well I wouldn't say I'm super close with her, but my cousin Gigi just had a baby a month ago and we're going up to LA tomorrow for the baby's one month birthday. (It's a Chinese tradition -- kinda like a baby shower, but a month after the baby's born instead of before.)

Did anyone close to you die?
No.

What countries did you visit?
None. ;____; Someday I will make it out of the US.

What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Umm... a job? Maybe a boyfriend, lol.

What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The Friday before Memorial weekend, which was apparently May 27th (I just looked it up, LOL). That was the day we basically had to finish everything for our thesis projects since Memorial weekend is also the Fifth Year Architecture Thesis Show. I remember it being super stressful and the week leading up to that point was full of all-nighters, but it was such a good feeling to be (almost) done with everything by the end of the day. Then all the days after that was smooth-sailing school-wise since my project was done.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing school and getting my degree! Fuck yes, five years for a piece of paper!

What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to get a job. =/ I mean, I know there are a lot of people in the same boat as me, but it still sucks. =/

Did you suffer illness or injury?
I think my worst injury was the time I was working on a model near the beginning of the year and I cut a small chunk of my thumb off. x_x I remember my thumb was gushing A LOT of blood and, of course, my first worry was whether I got blood on my model or not, LOL. I also remember it hurt A LOT and it was REALLY hard to work on my models for a few weeks. =/

No.

I don't think I bought anything amazing this year?

I don't really watch much TV, but I guess my favorite this year was Greek, which sadly ended this season.

No. I did hate them at one point, but after all this time, it's turned into dislike and extreme disappointment.

I really liked the Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. IDK, I didn't read that many books this year. =/

I'm bad at remembering when I discover good music, so I dunno.

I just stayed at home and did nothing because I am lame like that, lol. I turned 24!

Getting a job?

Lots of yellows, v-necks, and skirts I bought from the girls section, LOL. I am not very fashion-forward.
