NGL, this week was kinda sucky with all the presentations and sleep deprivation and overall lameness that is Dead Week and I totally overslept and missed my morning class this morning, but it's almost over and I just have a few hours of class tomorrow morning, then I'll be DONE! Well, almost done -- I still have a paper and a final paper to write before next Thursday, but yeah. Anyway, let's talk about things that aren't about school!

1. Patrick Stump! The two versions of Spotlight! There is the New Regrets one and the Oh Nostalgia version. I like them both, but I like the Oh Nostalgia just a little bit more, lol. aznearthdragon actually likes the New Regrets one more, so it balances out. XP Anyway, I totally listened to them on repeat when I was pulling my all-nighters so I might actually need to take a break from listening to them for a little while, lol. But yeah, I also want to say that Patrick looks too skinny now! Go eat more food, bb!



2. Shoes! I just got my boots (the ones I was talking about my last real post) in the mail today! ♥ I want to wear them, but I don't think I have any jeans or pants I can actually stuff into them, so that kinda sucks, LOL. But whatever, I guess I can go force myself to buy some skinny jeans or something next week while I procrastinate my time away until Thursday. XP But anyway, I also bought some shoes from Ebay last week (which I totally forgot to mention) and they came in the mail yesterday! There were these boots and they are also awesome, but when I tried them on yesterday, it made me realize I have fat calves, LOLOLOL. Like, I knew my calves were kinda big, but seriously, I was zipping them up and when they were about 3-4 inches from the top, it was so tight and I was all "OHZ NOZ!" and worried they wouldn't actually be able to make it all the way up, lol, but once it was fully zipped, it was fine. XP Anyway, there were also these shoes, which was actually an auction for two pairs and I didn't actually notice until I bid on them, lol. I didn't think I would win or anything b/c I wasn't planning to bid more if anyone outbid me, but I ended up winning and $5.99 for two pairs of shoes are fine by me. XP But yeah, I like the brown ones (since those were the ones I was actually bidding on), but the black ones are just kinda meeh for me, LOL. It's that stupid bow on the black ones -- seriously, if it didn't have a bow, I would actually be in love with them, but whatever, haha.



3. The Social Network! Okay, totally forgot to mention it last time, but over break, aznearthdragon and I finally watched The Social Network and I just want all the fics about Mark and Eduardo and their epic tragic love, OMG! Like, I had some fics saved from when they showed up on my f-list because I knew I would watch the movie eventually and might want to read some fics and it was so true because I totally devoured them after watching the movie! And I'm (slowly) skimming through mark_eduardo, so when I eventually get up the energy to start reccing again, there will probably be a bunch of TSN recs mixed in with Inception ones. XP



4. It's December! December is pretty much my favorite month because it usually means a few weeks break from school and there's a bunch of holiday exchange fics to read! ♥ Granted, I'm super behind on reading pretty much everything, so it's not like I'll run out of things in the first place, lol. But yeah, it also helps that my birthday is in December as well! \o/ I'm not sure if I'll be doing anything this year for my birthday, but we'll see, lol. If anything, it'll probably be another dinner thing like last year. IDK, aznearthdragon, you can plan it if you want. XP



5. I took that Inception Team test thing earlier and I got Cobb/The Extractor. I honestly have no idea what to say about that, LOL, because I don't feel like I was giving Cobb-ish answers? IDK, whatever. I decided to take it again just now (since I had to go back to find the link anyway) and I got Yusuf/The Chemist which is better, lol. XP

I just noticed that the day on my watch is wrong! I guess it probably said 31 yesterday instead of 1, lol. I probably didn't notice before because Tuesday night and Wednesday morning blurred together and that night was probably the last time I actually looked at the date part of my watch (my old watch didn't have the date in it), so yeah. Anyway, I'm gonna go and try to be a little productive or something, lol.

So today was not really a good day for me (even though it started out pretty okay in the beginning), so I would just like to talk about some things that made today better, in between all the bullshit.

1. The most epic and hilarious conversation ever in which four guys in my studio and Tara were kind of in a semi-circle in front of my desk area talking and then Tara brought up her FB status (the Just got called pretentious for owning a Moleskine. =/ one that I mentioned earlier) and they all got SUPER OFFENDED and I couldn't help LAUGHING MY ASS OFF. Like, seriously, the look on their faces were absolutely PRICELESS and I was in the perfect position to see them all when Tara brought it up and I was laughing so hard! XP Because obviously all four of the boys and Tara own Moleskines and Tara was totally acting like she was offended with them and seriously, what else was I suppose to do?! I mean, I was the one who made that pretentious comment in the first place (even though they don't know it), so you can't expect me to do anything else but find it super amusing. XP Anyway, they were all talking and being super pissy about being called pretentious and then they decided to look up pretentious on wiki and they were reading the wiki page out loud and I was just trying not to laugh the whole time. XP Also, Tara just told me that when her and one of the guys were walking to get food (after that conversation up there), all he could talk about with her was the whole pretentious thing and apparently he was just super offended and bristling about it for that whole 20 minutes they were gone. Seriously, most entertaining five-ish minutes ever. ♥ (Is it wrong that I am amused by how much hostility there was by my semi-anonymous comment?)



2. Having a ridiculously nostalgia conversation about anime with Tara while we were eating dinner. Like, somehow it came up (I don't remember how), and she wasn't a giant nerd like me, but she was like, "Oh, I was really into this one show! I can't remember the name!" and we had an epic five minutes trying to figure it out because she couldn't remember anything about the show except spikey hair, which, hello, almost everything, and I was trying to guess by just throwing a bunch of titles at her and she was trying to google it by typing in anime and looking through images for the main character, LOLOL. Anyway, obviously I totally failed because when she finally found a picture, it ended up being Dragon Ball Z, which totally did not cross my mind. XP But yeah, anime! There was a point back in the day when I was really into it! (I mean, obviously, have you see my LJ name?) But now, not so much -- it's been forever since I've even watched any anime! So sad -- I definitely feel nostalgic sometimes. Also, I really want to change my name to remula, but it's been taken forever. I'm just waiting for the day it gets purged (which, with my luck, will probably be never) or maybe I should just change my name to wazokana. IDK, someday when I have money, lol.



3. This post by disarm_d because that interview is still amazing and I still love bb!Panic so much! ♥ Like, they are just so adorable, especially the whole Guitar Hero ~drama~ and Brendon petting Ryan's hair at the base of his neck and seriously, they were so ridiculous. ♥♥♥

Okay, I need to stop procrastinating now and get to work...

1. Panic! At The Disco
   I tweeted this, but a repost (can it be considered a repost if my tweets for the day haven't been posted here yet?): Shane posted THIS PICTURE OF RYAN AND BRENDON and I had a flail-y moment of "OMGGG! RYAN AND BRENDON!!!" and then I got over it, LOL. XP And then I refreshed the page a few minutes later and I just wanted to drop my head in shame at some of the comments the pic was getting! I mean, the excited fangirl comments are okay, but comments to the effect of "RYDEN EXISTS!" just AREN'T because the person who posted that picture is someone who actually knows them! I mean, there's a line! Read all the RPS you want, but please don't be shoving it in their face, you know? -_-
   
   Anyway, best non!fail comment to the pic that I saw (before I closed the window) was when someone was like, "Quick everyone, grab your totems!" or something to that effect -- it totally made me LOL IRL. XP



2. Project Runway
   I already twitter-spammed a bunch of spoilers and my opinion is pretty clear, but since the day's digest hasn't been posted yet, I'll post under a cut. ( Project Runway opinions here! )

ETA: Right after I posted this, I refreshed my f-list and there were already some posts (before mine) regarding that pic, LOL.
ETA2: I just LOL'd IRL when I saw THIS. SO MUCH AWESOME, LOLOLOLOL.
