remula | Peace of Rain

So I was bored. I wrote a poem 'cause it was raining... It sucks -- I wrote it, like, just now -- in about five or so minutes so it's DEFINITELY not good. The title's Peace of Rain, but that's a sucky title. Oh well. Enjoy -- if you can.

The mighty pitter-patter of the rain gave me peace,
The majestic sight of water amazed,
The wonderful smell of pouring water was in my nose.

The beautiful sight of pouring rain...
...dancing drops...
...falling...

I listen to the lovely sound --
It brings undeserving thoughts as well as serenity...
I long to hear it speak again.

I watch as each drop comes,
Neverending, never stopping --
And I am at peace again.

Harder it pours,
Louder the sound,
And fat drops plummet to the ground.

I lie awake and watch the scene,
Beautiful sight...
...dancing drops...
...falling...

And I listen to the lovely sound --
Neverending, never stopping...
And I am at peace.
