Kearny on TV?! You don't say!

aznearthdragon came running in here and turned on the TV and was like, "Did you hear?!" and I was like, "Huh? *confused*" and she just kept pointing at the TV like I'd understand what she was talking about, lol. Then, when she saw that they weren't gonna mention what it was, she was like, "That's Kearny! *points to background of lady who was talking*" and then a minute later, they said that some of the evacuees from New Orleans were staying at Kearny High School until they could be put into hotels.
It's great to know that those people are here and safe. And some are at my high school right now. The thing I don't get is why Kearny ((no offense)). I thought they'd choose a place closer to the airport (('cause Kearny CAN'T be the closest school to the airport.. or is it?)), but whatever. It's still good news, nonetheless.
