Purse Meme!

Been a while since I've done a meme, I think, so here's the purse meme that's been going around! =)

Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you want to look at it, I just changed bags right before going to New York, so my stuff has kind of already been pre-cleaned before doing this meme, so a lot of the random junk that usually builds up is stuck in my old handbag and the stuff I figured I actually needed migrated to the new bag. XP


My current purse!
I just bought before heading to New York -- I couldn't resist because I was sadly lacking a green purse (considering half my wardrobe is green) and it was on clearance for $5.80. XP



Sadly I do not carry a bunch of cute things around, so it's probably not as fun from that point of view, lol. (I'm just super boring, it's true!)

From left to right...

• Brown Wristlet -- yes, I have a bag within a bag, lol.


• Phone -- usually I carry this in my jacket pocket, but if I don't have a jacket on, it goes in my bag. XP


• Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins -- because I haven't had a chance to finish reading it yet!


• Wallet -- right now it's full of receipts from New York and has no cash. ;_;


• Dental Floss -- aznearthdragon would say this is a necessity!


• Lotion -- I need to refill the bottle, lol.


• Hand Sanitizer -- I used so much while in New York!


• Eye Drops -- it's the kind for contacts.


• Blistex -- the blue lip medex Blistex is better, but I carry the stick kind in my purse.


• Random Stuff from New York -- pamphlet from visiting the 9/11 Memorial, ticket for the Guggenheim, pass to visit Ronnette Riley's office in the Empire State Building, ticket for going up to the observation deck in the Empire State Building, and my boarding pass to get on my flight to NY with scribbles of how much money I owe people and people owe me from the trip, lol.


• Camera Bag -- camera was obviously in my hand for this. XP


• Keys and ID -- as with my phone, I usually carry this in my jacket pocket as well.


• Mirror (red job corps thing) -- I got this at a job fair back in high school, lol.


• Pens and a Sharpie -- this is such a reduction to the amount of pens I typically carry, lol. I have about four other purses/handbags that I rotate between and they each have their own random set of pens (around 10-ish) always in them, lol.


• USB


• Bag of Cough Drops -- I bought it a few days ago from the Health Center and forgot to take them out of my bag. Not that it matters since studio peepz are intent on getting me sick again after I just got over it. ;_;


• Olfa Blade -- it's only because I need it to work on my model, okay? Typically if I have a blade in my bag, it would be my bigger Olfa, but I don't actually know where that one is right now. =/ Hopefully I can find it soon...


• Business Card from Arup


• Metro Pass from New York


• Napkins -- yeah, I'm one of those people who totally takes a bunch of napkins from places and always stuff it in my bag. Whatever, always having napkins around is very convenient!


• Bag of Almonds

I think it's time for bed. XP

I thought the bag was TINY when I saw the first picture, and then I scrolled down and I did a total double take at how much stuff fits inside it XD

Now that I look at it, the bag does kind of look like it could be small in the first photo, LOL, but it's actually decent sized! I mean, all that stuff is in there and today for class, I also stuffed a water bottle and my planner (which is about the same size as the book) in there as well! =O

Dental floss is always necessary, it's true, but somehow I never have any with me when I actually need it!

"random stuff from new york" -- we should start keeping our ticket stubs so we know where we've been! -- but then we'll become a pack rat. :(

I had to buy dental floss in NY because I forgot to bring mine with me -- it was kind of sad! But at least buying it there made me keep it in my bag, so it's kind of a win, right? XD

I'm sorry to say, but we're both already pack rats. ;_; Why do we always keep so much junk around?!

Batch, please come up here, I will definitely find room to stuff you in my bag if you do! XD

Sadly I don't have my bag of almonds with me right now b/c I was eating some earlier at home and forgot to put the bag back in my purse before heading back to school! ;_; *is in need of snack-y foods*
