Today I have done close to absolutely nothing. x_x Attempted to do some of my honors government essay that's due Friday.. Sewed the button back onto my class A jacket... That's about all the productiveness I did today. x_x

Boring, boring day..
Feb. 12th, 2006 07:27 pmToday was soooo boring. x_x Got up around.. 11:00-ish and got ready and ate.. Then just went on the computer and watched TV.. 10 Things I Hate About You was on, so watched some of that ((I've been wanting to watch that again for a long time, lol)) beofre we went out.
Went to Target soaznearthdragon could buy her graphing calculator then went and bought food and then home.
Worked on some scholarship stuff.. Finished the UC Berkeley Leadershup Alumni one, although I don't think I'll get it.. Have to work on my Ford one.. BLAH..
10 Things I Hate About You is on again right now, so yeah.. watching that again, since we didn't get to watch it all earlier, lol.
I'm bored.. Laterz.

I did a whole lot of nothing today. There was sleeping in until about 11-something where I was finally forced to get up, then later on, there was eating then computer using, then there was the Super Bowl to be watching, but I wasn't in the mood to watch. Some time way later, I started watching and it sucked 'cause in the end, Steelers won and OMG why didn't they lose like they were suppose to? >O Anywayz.. Yeah, that's about it for the day. I worked on some scholarships too, but yeah.. I'm not sure I got much done.. Damn scholarships and the work involved in applying. x_x S'not like I'm really gonna get most of them anyway.. But I must try! *dies*
In other news, I've decided to boycott the deadlines for the specific parts of the senior portfolio. Why, might you ask? Because I strongly believe in setting our OWN deadlines given the final deadline. That, and I was under the impression from the beginning that the purpose of the project, besides giving us more work to do, was so we could, I don't know.. LEARN TIME MANAGEMENT and all that junk, and giving us deadlines for individual parts is not helping us in the road to real life and seeing as their "purpose" is to get us ready for college or the real world, well.. all I can say is, they get an F!
But yeah.. the reason I'm so strongly disagree to these deadlines besides the stupidity of it? Because they decided to give it to us on FRIDAY, after about a month of giving us their NEW requirements ((Yes, they were like, "Forget the crap we gave you the second week of school, even if you have been working on it, 'cause this is the new shit")) and the first deadline? Tuesday. Thank you teachers for being so kind as to inform us two days before the deadline that, hey, something is due! =O
All I have to say is, what if we were working on it but OUT OF ORDER?! Okay, that might not be me, but still! I was gonna work out of order for the project, so this is whack and I will not be turning in any of these things according to the deadline, but I will still have a great portfolio and an excellent presentation because I can write damned good speeches and stuff, and if they still have the nerve to give me a bad grade for it because OMG I didn't adhere to the deadlines given out in the MIDDLE OF THE YEAR, not to mention the fact that it looked like it was typed by some little kid who didn't know a thing about puncutation and grammar, then they can be that way for all I care, 'cause I can't respect a piece of "offical" paper with deadlines on it if it doesn't even look like it's something worth keeping.
Anywayz.. Yeah, that's about it. On another note, I was typing this in Semagic and then suddenly, out of no where, the stupid thing froze (but everything else on my computer worked) and it wouldn't unfreeze, so I had to retype everything (which was about half of this entry) before Ctrl + Alt + Delete-ing and closing out of it. x_x Ahh.. the lameness that is my computer. *sigh*
